FARMER DIES IN PADDOCK.

MARTON, Thursday.
Alexander Ross, a prominent Rangitikei resident, aged 63, was found dead in a paddock on a farm at Hunterville last evening. He had gone out to tend the animals, and he failed to return. In his younger days Mr. Ross was a well-known athlete. He was formerly employed, as a blacksmith.
