V APPOINTMENTS EXPIRING. 0- HON. J. BARR REAPPOINTED. (By Telegraph—Special to "Star.") WELLINGTON, Thursday. The announcement is made that the Hon. John Barr, of Christchurch, whose term as Legislative Councillor expired on January 22, was reappointed the next day for a term of seven years. Other Councillors whose term expires this year are the Hon. Colonel Collins, of Wellington, July 14; the Hon. John MacGregor, of Otago, July 14; the Hon. Wm. H. Mclntyre, Nelson, September 2; the Hon. Sir Thos. Mackenzie, March 12; the Hon. Richard Moore, of Canterbury, July 14, and the Hon. W. W. Snodgrass, of Nelson, September 2.
