A POLICE "SHEIK."
TO BE TRIED FOR MURDER. NEW YORK, August 28. D. Graham; the "Sheik" of New York Police Department, has been arrested and charged with the murder and robbery of Judson Pratt, construction superintendent, who was murdered while carrying the money to pay his men. Graham, who had been assigned to protect Pratt, had purchased . a new automobile, and gave a champagne party costing £200 just before he was arrested.
