TAMASI YACHT CLUB. ANNUAL PRIZB XIGHT. The second annual distribution of prtoi of the TamaU Yacht Club was beM last evening in Grey's Hall. lm the presence of a large gathering of elub members and their Udy friend*, and representatives from the Auckland and Maaukau Yacht Chios. Mr. J. w. Andrew, commodore of the club, before asklnr the patron. Mr, C W. Anderson, to present the print, gave a short resume of the past mwa. Although only two yean* old they now had ISO member*, and racing was held oa art days with keen competition on each occasion. Mr. Neville Newcomb. rice-patron, welcomed the visiting yachtsmen, and satd he was pleased to see such a friendly feel lair extended to the yovngstar of the boattag dobs by the older one*. Thalr sport was one of the best, and they wer* fortunate la having snch a fine expanse of water to carry it on. The Tamakl Club would grow, and he hoped to see than with a clnbbo—i of thalr own la time. Mr. B. Maya, of the Royal !C.£ Yacht Squadron, replied on behalf of the visttora, and Iβ the etmis* of a humorous spsieh he gave yachtamea some good advic* oa sailing their craft and dodging the many tide rips which had developed U tha past few yean la tbe harbour. After supper, daadng was continued antU 12 o'clock to the music of the Melodlan orchestra.
