WEDDINGS OF THE WEEK.

OSBORNE—MASLIN.

The church at Takapuna was prettily deootated' for the wedding of Girlie Maalin, of Bayswater, and Jack Osborne, [ of -Epwm,-when the Eev. W. 6. Horickton conducted the ceremony. The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her step-father, Mr. C. H. Osmond, wore a beautiful frock of ivory georgette appliqued in beads, with a floral design in tones of palest pink, Mae and lemon, outlined with gold sequins. The frock was cut with pouched bodice, and full skirt, and,, with it was worn a tulle veil caught to the head with a single trafl of oraage blossoms. Her bouquet was oi white flowers with long streamers of white ribbon. The bridesmaids were Miss Ngaio Finnis and Miss Edna Craig, who wore tones of warm rose and gold respectively. The frocks were fashioned with tight-fitting bodices of panne velvet and full-shirred skirt of georgette. They wore iridescent .headbands, and their bouquets were of sweet peas, stocks and poppies in tones of rose and gold. The groom was attended by Mr. Jack Pailon as best man, and Mr. Ernest Inglia as groomsman. After the ceremony the guests were entertained at "Alston, ,, the well-known residence of the bride's stepfather, where an inspection was made of Ola presents. The supper table and room were decorated in rose and gold colours, and. also the ban room. The guests included Mr. and Mrs. H. Ackihs and Mr. P.
