ULIMAROA IN PORT. STEAMERS DUE TO-MORROW. A smart trip from Sydney whs made by the Ulimaroa, which arrived at Auckland this morning. She is to sail on her return trip on Friday. The Canadian Challenger, and the Schouwen, both from Montreal, and the Kartigi, from Melbourne. will arrive to-morrow, according to their wireless reports.

The Waipiata arrived yesterday afternoon from the South, berthing at the Prince's wharf. She is to sail at noon on Thursday lor Wellington. Lyttolton, Dunediii Oamaru. and Timaru. The Wingatui left Plcton at 1 p.m. yesterday for Auckland. After discharge 'she is to go to Wellington. Lyttcltou, Dunodin and Timaru. The Katoa is to leave Dunetliu at "> p.m. to-day for Oamaru. Timaru, Lyttelton Well lington and Auckland. The Waipori left Xapier at 9/M a.m. today for Auckland, and is due to-morrow afternoon. After discharge she is to go to Portland. The Richardson steamer Awahou is to sail for East Coast ports at 3 p.m. to-day. The schooner Maroro arrived at Sydney from Gishorne this morning. ROTOKIA LEFT SOUTHAMPTON. A cablegram from London states that the New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotonia lefl Southampton yesterday afternoon for Auckland and Wellington, three days behind schedule. She is due here on October 11. The Rotorua was in collision with the quay at Southampton, and was delayed for inspection. Apparently she suffered no serious structional damage.

HARBOUR COLLISION. While at the Kinjr's wharf yesterday afternoon. the Gisborne Sheepfarnicr.* , steamer Tiron wns struck amidships by the collier Ilikurangi. which was coining aloneside to supply bunker coal. The Tiroa was holed above and below the water line, and began to leak badly. The Harbour Board's small steamer Firefloat came alongside and her pump kept the water in check throughout the night. This morning the Tiroa was placed un the slipway for repairs.

CANADIAN CHALLENGER TO MORROW. A radio message from ;hc Canadian Government steamer Canadian Challenger states that she expects to reach Auckland trom Montreal at 5 a.m. tomorrow. After inspection she will berth at the Queen's wharf to discharge the local portion of her cargo. From Auckland she is to go to Wellington. Lyttelton. OCEAN TRANSPORTS VOYAGE. Arriving from Galvesron. Texas, late yesterday afternoon, the steamer Ocean Transport berthed hi Die Kinps wharf to commence discharge of her sulphur cargo. The steamer, which is owned by Messrs. Houlder Bros, and Co.. London, and is under charter to Andrew Weir and Co.. sailed from Galveston on July 26. and passed though the Panama Canal on August 3 Fine weather prevailed until August 20, when gales Jind rough seas were encountered the adverse conditions continuing until within four days of port. After unloading 3000 tons of her cargo at this port the Ocean Transport is to go to New Plymouth and Newcastle to put out the balance of *v>oo tons. Messrs. R. Millar and Co.. are'the local agents.
