Mrs. A. Budd. of Opotiki. is the guest of Mrs. F-. J. Mears, Whitiora. Miss L\ Xcrrish, of Auckland, is staying in Hamilton, where she intends to reside. Mr. and Mrs. C. V. Towl.-, of Now Plymouth, are on a visit to Hamilton.

A delightful rianoe eventuated in St. Peter's Hall, Hamilton, on Thursday, organised by the committee of the Youujr People's Club. The members of the Hamilton East -Anglican Guild held a most enjoyable social on Wednesday. A fine reading of A. A. Milne's "When the Boy Came Home" was eiven by the Matanjri Kead ing dub. The prirc* in the competitions were won by Mesdames Judd, Hobbs Misses Coventry, Comer ford and Dickev.
