There was a good ' attendance, and a splendid exhibition of ! clean, evenly contested matches was dls- 1 played. The Mayor (Mr. W. H. Sandford) presided. Mr. C. A. C. Macdonald acted as referee, and Mr. A. W. Ashwell was timekeeper. The following are the results:— Lightweights.—ln the flrgt bouts K. Sigley scored a fall against Cunningham : Allan White 2, v. D. Sandford 0; H Anderson 2, v. V. Barakat 1. Semi-final: K. Sigly 2, v. H. Anderson 0, Final: K. Sigley 1, v. Allan White 0. Heavyweights.—First bouts: J. Webb 2. v. E. Presntl 0 ; Alec Scarrow 2, v. Ran pi Bishop 0; Albert Scarrow 2, v. A. Anderson O. Semi-finals: J. Webb 1, v. D. Scarrow 0 ; Alec Scarrow 2. v. Albert Sea rrow 0. Final: J. Webb 2, v. Alec. Scarrow 0. K.
