The Kiwis went off into the bush to look for it, but they couldd't find it anywhere.
While Ngaio and the Kiwis were hunting for the paddle the horrid old Bush Lawyer hid it in a hollow log, because he wanted to wind his red tape on it. .MB
"Just the place 1 have been looking for," •aid the Kiwi, when he came to the hollow log. "I am going to make a nest in here." But imagine his surprise *h«n he walked in en top of the paddle.
