OBITUARY.

FUNERAL OF MR. HECTOR McLEAN. The funeral of the late Mr. Hector McLean Stewart, who died suddenly on Tuesday at Onehunga, took place yesterday at the Hillsboro' cemetery. A short service was held at the late residence of the deceased by the Rev. D. D. Scott, who also read the burial service at the graveside. The Foresters' ritual for the dead was afterwards delivered by Bro. W. J. Jordan, M.P. The funeral was largely attended by members of Court Pride of Onehunga, A.0.F., of which the late Bro. Stewart had been chief ranger.
