PILLAGING ALLEGED.
WATERSIDER CHARGED. THEFT OF A FUR COAT. "It is alleged that while working on the wharf this man broke open a case and stole the coat which was subsequently sold," said Chief Detective Cummings at the Police Court this morning, in asking that Newell Harry Williams (41), be remanded until June 9.
Williams, for whom J. J. Sullivan appeared, was charged with stealing a fur coat valued at £37 10/, the property of the Commonwealth Jind Dominion Shipping Company, on March 16. Accused was remanded on bail of £100.
