RICHMOND WIN FROM MARIST.

The Rugby League programme drew an attendance of 10,000 at Carlaw Park on Saturday, when the chief attraction was the game between City and Ponsonby. After a very hard game Ponsonby won by 17 points to 14. At one stage City were 14 Doints behind, but they rallied near the end and had the better of the play. Richmond defeated Marist by a clear-cut margin, while Devonport had an easv win from Graf ton Athletic.
