PILOT THROWN OUT OF 'PLANE.

PARIS, May 17. A strange accident occurred at the Villa Coublay aerodrome yesterday. When at a height of 1000 ft an aeroplane ran into an air pocket. The fall jerked out the pilot, but he was carrying a parachute, which he immediately opened. Meanwhile the mechanic remained in the 'plane, but as he was unable to control it lie too jumped out. 'The two airmen glided safely to earth. The aeroplane nose-dived and -was completely destroyed. •
