At Cambridge the New Zealand cricket team s captain, T. C. Lowry, wiU revisit Jiis Alma Mater and the scene of his great cricket successes of 1923 and 1924, in both of which years he topped the' Cambridge batting averages, and in the latter season captained the side. In 1023 Lowry was one of the most brilliant hitlers in English cricket, during that year his best Innings being his 161 against Lancashire at Cambridge, made by magnificent batting— the best Been at Cambridge. during the season. He totalled 1077 runs at an average of 48.95 for his University.

In 1924 he was handicapped by appendicitis, and the resultant operation, yet he made 025 runs and averaged 32.89. Being now only 29 years of age it is quite probable that during the present tour he will attain to even greater heighths in batting than ever before. The above match is set down for to-day, Thursday and Friday, at Combridge—practically the same dates as those of the Australia v. Cambridge match of last year.
