Tr, KCTTI. May 17. The Kin? Country Central Collie Club's animal trials were held jit Piopio and drew a lar?e number of competitors. There were some tine displays by the various dogs. The committee, under the presidency of Mr. Largen. had everything well nrranced. and the joint secretaries. Messrs. H. W. Rattley and W. Xeal were efficient supervisors. Results follow :— Long Head.—S. Voyce's Sweep. 3rt points. 1: S. Pratt's Gill. 30. 2: E. \V. Larsens .Tack and H. Voyce"s Tweed, dead heaet 29 3. Short-Head. Hold in Rinjr and Huataway. Miss Long's Sandy. 43 point?. 1 : S. Voyce'a Smote. 39. 2 : E. \V. Larsens Jack, 20, S; G. Julian's Tweed, 21. 4. Huntaway.—T. 1.. Mawson's Help 44 points. 1 : Miss Longs Clyde. 42. 2: Miss Long's Sandy, 41, 3;. S. Voyce's Smoke. 4w. Short Head. Drive. Maltese Cross and Yard. —H. Voyce's Tweed. 48 points. 1 : S. Voyce's Sweep. 4o£. 2 : S. Pratts Gill, 43?., 3; J. Dunphy's Ben. 32. 4. Special Prizes.—Mr. W. D. Shan's tea set for winner of short head : H. Voyee'a Tweed. Mr. A. Duncan's tea set. 2 dogs in classes 11. and IV.: S. Voyee's Sweep and Smoke. Mr. Ryan's tup for winner of class I.: S. Voyce's Sweep. Messrs. Broadfoot and Finlay's cup, for class 111. (won outright) : T. L. Mawson's Help Mrs Dowdall's cup: E. W. Larsen's Jack. Points cup: Miss Long's Sandy. 113 points.
