WAIKATO' LANDS.

SETTLEMENT CONDITIONS. INVESTIGATION" ARRANGED. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. An investigation of the conditions affecting land settlement in the Waikato is to be made with a view to submitting a report to the Land Settlement League, in order that it may present all aspects of the case to a commissioner to inquire into the matter. The subject was discussed by the Chamber of Commerce last night, and it was decided to call a meeting, at which discussion on the problems affecting the Waikato will be invited. An effort will be made to secure the co-operation of all sections of the community towards the improvement of the existing conditions.
