CASE OF CAPTAIN GEE. LONDOX, May 10. The term of the leave of absence from the House of Commons granted to Captain Robert Gee, Conservative membei for the Bosworth division of Leicester has expired. As a result of this, and as Captain Ge< has taken up residence in Western Aus tralia, a new election for Bosworth' ha; been ordered and wr« take place ner month. The long absence of Captain Robert Gee \ .C, from his seat in the House of Com mons has caused much comment, an< recently a bill wa introduced from th Labour side to giv power to deal wit absentee member! it being understoo that it is directe particularly at tl unoccupied Bo worth seat. Captai Robert Gee, who : 50 years of ag< earned his commi: sion in the wai after having serve for 22 years in th ranks of the Roy; Fusiliers. In add tion to winning th v .u., tne Military Uross was awarded him and he was four times mentioned in dis patches. He was elected' to represent th Bosworth constituency- in 1924.
