SHOP IN FERRY BUILDINGS.
The Devonport Ferry Company has bought out the Takapuna Ferry .Company, and the latter will not now need its offices in the ferry buildings. The Harbour Board yesterday had before it a suggestion that the services of an architect be engaged to see if the offices could be turned into a shop without destroying the architectural symmetry of the building. The board sent the matter on to the Finance Committee for a report. *
