BUTTER PRICES RAISED.
ONE PENHY PEB LB. FOH AJJi GRAPHS. The retail price of butter in Auckland has been raised one penny per lb for all grades. This becomes operative to-day for the Ts2. Co-operative Dairy Company's brands, and to-morrow for those controlled by the butter factories' local market committee. Similar increases have already taken place in Wellington and Cbristefcurch. The local rise Iβ attributed to the more favourable reports reeentjy received of London marked conditions.
