WHANGAREI SHOW AWARDS

The dairy factory competitions run by the W'bangarei winter show attracted good entries from wide fields. Results on to-day's judging are as follow:—
Class A.—Davidson Cup. Box of butter suitable for export: Maungaturoto (Mr. J. Campbell, manager), 95pts, Ist and Davidson Cup; Waitanguru, 94Jpts, 2; Whangarei, 94pts, 3; Hikurangi, 93}pts, 4. Other competitors were: Ohura Valley, Piopio, Te Awamutu, Aria, Kaitaia, Kaitieke, Kuranga, Raglan and Hinuera.
Class B. —Box of butter suitable for export, manufactured under most favourable conditions: Whangarei (Mr. W. H. Millington, manager), 94$pts, 1; Kaitaia. 94pts, 2; Tauranga, 93£pts, 3; Waipu, 93pts, 4. Other competitors were: Hikurangi, Ohura Valley, Piopio. Mercury Bay, Aria, Te Awamutu, Kaitieke, Raglan, Hinuera, Whangaroa. Class C.—Box of butter made by first assistant, for export, manufactured under mo-t favourable conditions: Kaitaia (Mr. D. S. Black), 94*pts, 1; Waipu, 94pts, 2; WJiangarei, 934 pta, 3; Hikurangi. 93pts, 4. Other competitors were: Piopio, Aria, Maungaturoto, Kaitieke, Raglan, Hinuera and Whangaroa.
Class D.—Case of cheese suitable for export,: ' Opouriao Dairy Co. (Mr. M. Syron, manager), 94ipts, 1. Only one entry.
