REGENT BALLROOM.
To-morrow • evening the New Regent Theatre ballroom will celebrate its opening night. Ever since the theatre opened, patrons have eagerly looked forward to the opening ot this up-to-date ballroom. Its appointments are of the latest cabaret architecture, and every convenience for the comfort and enjoyment of patrons has been arranged. The special opening night programme of music to be played by the Regent jazz band includes: "Bye, Bye. Blackbird, The Sun God," "Moonlight ?ini • Ganges," "Lonesome and Sorry," TV in 1 ' 1 ®; i ov ? ou " a,ld " Hie Diddle Diddle. Refreshments will be served to dancers in the ballroom, the palm court, or in the cafe below. Although the ballroom will be a boon to patrons of the Regent who desire to dance for an hour or two after the evening performances, evening dress will be compulsory on two nights a week—'Wednesdays and Saturdays. A feature of the programme to-morrow I night will be the novelty dances preserfl&ll Steel Trezise and Miss Dorothy
