RIDING TO PALMERSTON.

MB. BELL PASSES HAMILTON. MAN AND HORSE FIT. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, this day. Mr. G. A. Bell, who is riding on horseback from Auckland to Palmerston £orth, reached Hamilton at 5 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, and left early next morning. He is taking the journey by easy stages. Both man and horse are fit. Air. Bell hopes to complete his journey on time. He says the real mission of Ms. undertaking is to test the hospitality of the road.
