Di Pinedo Crosses the Atlantic.
1432 MILES IN TWELVE HOURS, i j VANCOUVER, February 23. A message from Pernambueo, Brazil, j says the Marchese di Pinedo just failed to make a non-stop flight from the Cape Verde Islands, off the African coast, to j Port Natal, in Brazil. I He covered 1432 miles to the island of Fernando Noronha in about twelve hours. He circles the island and then proceeded toward the Brazilian mainland. Very heavy seas and unfavourable •weather compelled him to turn back and he was forced to alight on the sea. The cruiser Barozzo stood by him, and eventually the aeroplane was safely { moored at Fernando Noronha, which is I about 250 miles north-east of Port j Natal. I DELAY BY ROUGH SEA.
