CARGO FOR THE FAR EAST.
SHIPPING LINES CONSOLIDATE. According to a recent decision of the Raited States Shipping Board, the Far ffst Line, and the- Pacific Australia «ne are to combine. During the past five years the Pacific Line has maintained a regular service to X e u- Zealand. The consolidated service, which will be known 03 . Aln erica-Auitralia-Orient Line, will 10 future be operated by Messrs. Rwayne ■ n 4 Hoyt (Inc.). who have been manag~S .operators of the Pacific Australia lane, Steamer 3 will sail from the Pacific t-Oist every fortnight, each alternate loading at Auckland for Hongkong ?* the Philippines and also Japan and ■j?*><2nna. Steamers not loading for '* port* will return direct from New ****n<l to San Francisco. •Ifle first steamer to load under the will be the West Islip, *™ci is due at Auckland at the end of ■jj?* »cV line will be the first to •nrainjT**'dirppt sprvicp between New Zea- ; and Far Eastern porte.
