PRESENTATION.

The members of the Milford Baptist Church presented the Rev. E. and Mrs. Nicholls with two easy chairs and a carpet square. The farewell .gathering was presided over by Mr. F. W. Gaze*, the Presbyterians being represented by the Rev. Morgan Richards, the Methodists by the Rev. H. Hinton, and the Auckland Baptist Union by Mr. Eade. The speakers all referred to the good work which Mr. and Mrs. Nicholls had done in the district. They are shortly to remove to Ponsonby.
