Ltd.. report on the weekly stock sale at Frankton yards on Tuesday, JuJy 6, as follows: We had a fair entry of beef, mutton and store sheep Beef sold at advanced rates as follows: Prime heavy cows, £8 17/6 to £9 15/6; medium weight prime heifers, £8 to £8 2/G; heavy fat cows, £7 2/6 to £7 15/; medium fat cows and heifers, £6 5/ to £6 14/; light, £-1 7/ to £5; rough cow beef, £3 12/G to £4 5/; light vealers, £2 3/ to £2 19/; fresh conditioned cows, £3 to £3 10/; stores, £2 5/ to £2 12/; culls, £1 to 30/; yearling Jersey heifers. £3; medium quality dairy cows, spring calvers, £7 10/ to £S; backward, £4 10/ to £5 10/; culls, £2. Sheep.—The demand for all classes of sheep showed a decided improvement. Heavy fat ewes realised 24/10; good quality ewes, young and light, 24/; plain, 19/3 to 20/8; forward, 2 and 4tooth wethers, 24/1; small, 21/8; small lambs, 10/3; cull ewes, 4/6. A smaller number of fat and store pigs than usual were penned, and sold at advanced rates as follow: Prime heavy baconers, £4 11/ to £5 1/; lighter, £4 6/ to £4 9/; medium baconers, £3 11/ to £3 17/; light baconers, £3 5/ to £3 10/; medium porkers. £2 15/ to £3 2/; light. £2 5/ to £2 10/; sows due to farrow sold to £6; slips. 2.3/ to 27/0; weaners, 11/ to 22/6.
