■ (By Telegraph. — Own Correspondent.) ' DARGAVILLE. Tuesday. 1 Word was received to-day that the Government had decided to start a road between Donnelly's Crossing and Waimaniaku, through Waipoua Forest. Mr. J \ Kerr. Public Works Engineer, lett this morning to start v.-ork from the : Donnelly's Crossing end with a gang ot fifteen men. When this route is completed Waimaniaku settlers will .be able ;to come into Dargaville daily instead '<bf as at the present time going once a week to Auckland by boat only.
