GREAT DISCOVERER RETIRES. NEW YORK, July 4. Captain Raoid Amundsen sailed for Norway yesterday. Prior to Lis departure Amundsen said: "I am going home to rest. Forty-one year- ago. when I was lo years of age. I knew what I wanted to do during my lifetime. I wanted to see both the poles. "I have seen them. My work is done.
