WIRELESS CONFERENCE.
A COMMISSION RECOMMENDED (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. It ivas resolved at the Wireless Conference that a Royal Commission should be appointed to inquire into the question of grievances generally, including copyrights, patents, and royalties. The conference adopted the sub-com-mittee's report in favour of providing funds to establish a scientific laboratory and for conducting radio research, The copyrights committee reported that broadcasting being a public utility should be freed from all restrictions and impositions tending to hamper its development, including copyright fees.— (A. and N.Z.)
