LEAGUE OF NATIONS.
AUCKLAND UNION LUNCHEONS.
A meeting of the Executive of the ! League of Nations Union was held in I the V.M.C.A., Mr. E. C. Cutten, S.M. in the chair. The union has decided I to inaugurate a fortnightly luncheon for its members and the general pub- \ lie after the Easter recess. It is hoped [ that the initial speaker will be Sir Henry Lunn, who is to visit New Zea-1 land in May. Other prominent overseas and local speakers will speak upon ; League of Nations topics, and it is hoped that local interest and enthusiasm will be roused. A committee to govern these luncheons' was set up and its members (Dr. Mildred Staley, Mr. L. A. Mander, M.A., Mr. Mcßrine) or the secretary, Mr. F. C. Jackson, invite public j support and sympathy.
