PONSONBY CRUISING CLUB. KACE TO HOWICK. The Tonsonby Cruising Club will hold two races to Howick to-morrow afternoon for yachts and launches. The launches will start at 2.30 p.m. and tlie yachts at 2.40 p.m. The starting line is between launch Lova and dredge Maiii, the three-flag. system being used. In the event of the destination being changed to Osteml a black flag will be flown ou starter's launch, a white flag indicating iHowick. The course is from starting lino direct to Howick, finishing between launch I.eitnor aiid dinghy moored east, observing Sandsplt. Beau Rock and Brown's Island beacon as fairway marks. The annual ladies' picnic will be held on Sunday, at French Bay. Tbe boats convoying the picnickers will leave the maiu wharf at 0 a.in., returning at about 0 p.m.
