OBITUARY.
• COLONIST OF SIXT)f-SIX YEARS. MR. KmYARD SEWELL. At the age of 71 years, Mr, Edward Scwcll died at his residence, ' Raliiri Road, Mount Eden. A native of Kent, England, Mr. Sewcll came to Auckland wjth liis parents in the ship Hanover 60 3'ears ago. They belonged to the Albcrtlaud settlers, but, however, settled iifst at Takapuna and were afterwards at Taniaki and Mange re. Mr. Scwell followed dairying until Ins retirement twelve years ago. lie resided at Edeniiale for a long time. Mr.. Sewell belopgpcl tp" thq Freemaspna Order! and was first Master of Lodge Auckland, No. 87, N.Z.C He" was also a^" member of the Grand Lqdg(« pf that Constitution. Deceased is survived by Mrs. Sewell, two sons and two daughters. The interment takes place totniorrow afternoon at St. Andrew's Cemetery, Epsom.
