WAIHI, this day.

The residence of Mr. David Thomson, in Clarke Street, was completely gutted by fire last evening. Two outbreaks occurred. The. first was in the back portion of the building, and was apparently extinguished, but later on a second one took place. The insurances are as yet unavailable.
