In our report "concerning the successful Palestine Plunket Charity Ball, which' was held at Dixieland; 'on Wednesday, evening,, owing tp. a misprint it was, stated; that Mrs. Polliek had .organised the hall. It ,was Mrs. Alexander Folliek who organised the function—She also, acted as hostess. Several novelty numbers were presented by Miss June Mesran, the child': artist, -while -Mr. ten■ Keven,-. the wellknown Auckland baritone contributed a bracket hi ■songs. Mr. Harold Walden .was .heard, in ..two comedy numbers, .and an' Oriental dance- fay Miss J,ois Brierly was much appreciated by those present. Excellent jazz was dispensed; by Dixielands Internationals. ■ . "
