THE ADMISSION OF GERMANY. SOME URGENT QUESTIONS. THE ARMAMENT OBLIGATION. (By Cibtev—Pnea Association.—Copytlftit) (Becelved l pjn.) GENEVA, March 11. The First Committee unanimously approved the sub-committee's report regarding Germany'e admission to the League, and adopted a resolution presented to the Assembly by Sir Austen Chamberlain in favour of her admission. Sir Austen Chamberlain •was appointed rapporteur to the Assembly. The sub-committee's report replied affirmatively to the following questions: Is the application of Germany in order? Is Germany recognised de facto and de jure? Has Germany stable Government and well defined frontiers? Is Germany fully self-governing? In reference to question 5 as regards Germany's fulfilment of her armaments obligations, the Council obtained the opinion of the Military, Naval and Air Commission, which was unanimously affirmative.—(A. and KZ.)
