PROTESTS IN - ENGLAND. N.Z. CASE .QUOTED. (Received 12 noon.) LONDON, March 11. The Northants Chamber of Commerce adopted a resolution for presentation to the Prime Minister, Mr. Baldwin, J protesting against the system whereby j certain Dominions charge income tax 1 upon absentee principals. A member i stated that the New Zealand authorities, I through his agent, were demanding a tax lon the estimated profits of his sales there. The Chamber recommended resistance, and urged the Government to bring up the matter at the Imperial Conference. (A. and N.Z.)
