, COMPLAINT OF PUBLISHERS. I LONDON. March 10. I The Music Publishers' Association of i London has decided to present an ultimatum to the British Broadcasting Company stating that unless the company agree to royalties on popular music ; which have heen the subject of long dis- , cussion. they will withdraw permission jto broadcast their copyright numbers | immediately. It is stated that this will ■ mean the immediate exclusion of all dance music from wireless programmes. The publishers say they are not asking a higher fee. they even agreed to accept lower fees than last year, but could not affor<fc to agree to the company's proposed rates. They declared that broadcasting reduced the life of a popular song to weeks.— (Reuter.) I
