WOMEN IN FICTION.
MORE INTERESTING THAN MEN NEW YORK, March 4. Women predominate as writers of fiction, according to Professor Henry Canby, who has written several books on the short storyAll present day writers of fiction, he complains, are failing to do justice to their male characters. Christopher Morley. the well-known author of many novels, plays and other works, who was once on the editorial staff of the '"Ladies' Home Journal."' makes a final and unexpected reply to the professor. Women to-day, he says, are far more interesting than men.
