Henderson and Macfarlane have received advice tbat the Swayne and Hoyt Line steamer Montague, which is expected to reach Auckland from Pacific Coast ports about March 28, is bringing 478,000 feet of lumber, 22,000 cases of oil, and 550 tons general cargo for discharge at this port. ATHENIC MEETS STORMS, Stormy weather is delaying the arrival at this port of the White Star liner Athenic. from London and Southampton, and .1 further radio received from the vessel last evening stated that she Will not now reach this port until daybreak o» Sunday. She was previously- expected to arrive to-morrow morning. The Athenic, which has on board (513 passengers, besides mail and cargo,- will berth at the Qtieen'S wharf. TURAKIA'S ITINERARY. ~ Her itinerary having been altered the New Zealand Shipping Co.'s steamer Turakina will iow load for London as well as West Coast ports of Great Britain. The vessel will commence loading at New Plymouth about Mardh 20, And will load at Tiinaru on March 2G, at Lyttelton on March 20, at Wellington on March 31, and at Auckland on Aprii 9. The Turakina will sail finally from Auckland on April 13. The Lamb steamer • Omana is to sail this evening ■ for Opua and - Hokianga, to complete her timber cargo for Sydney. The Hinemoa is expected to return from Norfolk Island on Saturday. She will berth at the Central wharf. The Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross will undock on Saturday morning, when she will berth at the Queen's wharf. ■ • The barquentine Louis Theriault Is to be placed on the patent slip early next week. The Dutch steamer Schouwen sailed for Wellington last evening. At the capital port she will continue discharge of her East Canadian cargo. The steamer living-ton Court, which Is expected to arrive at Auckland from Cuba at an early date, has not yet been reported by wiroless. On arrival she will proceed to Chelsea. En route from Port Arthur to Wellington, the tramp steamer Rochdale arrived at Colon on March 7. From Wellington she is to come to Auckland to continue discharge of her cargo. Cabled information reports the arrival nt Colon on March 7, of the Ham Line steamer Trelyon, en route from New York to Auckland with general cargo. She will also discharge at Napier and Wellington. THE R.M.S. NIAGARA. Bringing passengers, mails, and cargo, the Union Company's R.M.s. Niagara was to leave Sydney to-day for " Auckland. She is due here on Monday morning, and will resume her voyage to Vancouver on the following day. WAIWERA SAILS AT DAYLIGHT. Bound for New York, Boston, and London, the Shaw Savill and Albion I>lne steamer Waiwera is scheduled to sail from Auckland at daybreak to-morrow. She is berthed at the Queen's wharf. THE TAIROA. For Xapier, Lyttelton, and Wellington, to finish loading for London, the Shaw Savill and Albion steamer Tairoa is to sail from Auokland at five o'clock this afternoon. She is to sail finally from Wellington on March 26. CUMBERLAND TO-NIGHT. Loaded with general cargo from West of England ports, the Federal Line steamer Cumberland is expected to arrive at Auckland from Liverpool at 0 p.m. to-day. She will berth to-morrow morning at the Queen's wharf. Her other discharging ports are Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. SURREY TO-MORROW. In aceordnnce with her Homeward loading programme, the Federal Line steamer Surrey will arrive at Auckland from New Plymouth at 9 a.m. to-morrow. She will load at the Prince's wharf for West of England ports, and will later proceed to Wellington to fill up. CANADIAN SPINNER SAILED. A departure from Auckland late yesterday afternoon was the Canadian Government steamer Cnnndlnn Spinner, with a cargo of New Zealand produce for discharge at New York, Boston, and Montreal. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. Coming from Montreal with general cargo, the Canadian Government steamer Canadian Challenger is encountering stormy weather. She is expected to reach port to-mOITOW afternoon. The Canadian Challenger will unload at the Prince's wharf, and will then proceed South to complete discharge, HUNTINGDON TO LOAD. Discharging now at .Southern ports, the Federal Line steamer Huntingdon is announced to go on the loading berth for New York, Boston, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, and Avonmouth. She is due to load at Port Chalmers on March 17, at Bluff on 'March 24, nt Lyttelton on March 31, at Wanganui on April S, at Napier on April 14, at Gisborne on April 19, at Auckland on April 21, at Wellington on April 26. and will sail finally from Wellington on April 29.
