DECKEE NISI GRAFTED. Preferring another man to her husband with whom she had lived happily for over six years, Annie Eliza Siitlon (Mr. Singer) gave John William Stilton (Mr. Haddow), definite grounds for "procuring a divorce on the grounds of misconduct with Arthur Pilkington (Mr. Moody). The case was before Mr. .Justice Herdman in the Supreme Court this morning. Mr. Singer nnd Mr. Moody both withdrew their defence, and the case resolved into an undefended divorce ;iction. Mr. Haddow said he would withdraw the claim for damages. The parties ■were married on August 30, TO 17. .and the first few years proved happy ones. The trouble commenced when the respondent left him and went away with the co-respondent. Petitioner had Teason to believe that hie wife was Hying :with corespondent, and. in company with, two friends, he the house and there secured evidence to .; substantiate Jthe grounds of the action. A decree nisi to be-made absolute in three months was : : granted, costs to.be paid by the co-respondent. An application for an order of restitiition of conjusral rights was ' brought by Thomas,Greenhaigb (Mr. Singer and Mr. Simsoii). against Mildred Annie Greenbaigh .-(Mr. Findlav). " Mr. Findlay withdrew the defence. Petitioner stated that he was-married on July 4. 1023. There-were no children. On June 30 last she left him. and although he had > made repeated verbal and written requests for her return she refused to do'so. An order was made that the respondent return to the positioner within "14 days.
