CATTLE PERISH.
Q UEENSLAITD DROUGHT. , BEISBA3STE, February 12. It is reported from Charleville that cattle are dying in hundreds all over the south-west. Nothing can be done to relieve the situation, as stock is too weak'to travel. One station owner near Windorah has lost from 40.000 to 50,000 cattle. This territory has missed all recent rains. Commogin station, near Charleville, has had only two inches of rain during the last twelve months. The cattle which have .died are over 200 miles from a railway.
