LOYALIST UNIONS.
LANG'S HIGH HAND. PETITION AGAINST DE-RATING. (Received 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. There is a movement afoot to petition the Governor " protesting against the Arbitration Amendment Bill, now before the- Legislative Council, on the ground seeks to exclude the 1917 loyalist unions. .-'■'■'' The petition, which,- has already been drawn up, points out that the bill, if made law, would automatically extinguish the life of all industrial unions, not included in the schedule attached to the bill. The petition contends that the bill is a violation of the established principles and spirit of British law.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
