136 TO THE POUND. POLITICAL CRISIS LOOKING. (Received 11 a.m.) PARIS, February "19. A new low record has been established fer the franc,. 136 to the pound now being registered. The fall is attributed to the confused Parliamentary situation. It is very doubtful iff the new Taxation Bill will be adopted by the end of the month. A grave conflict between the two Chambers is looming, the Senate's Finance Committee having drastically _ altered the Chamber's decisions.—Reuter.
