The Tmssrng Zimmerman, story of the travels of Captain James Cook in the South Seas, which was located some time ■go in Switzerland for Mr. Cecil French of this city, has arrived from Europe, and will be presented to the Provincial Museum. * The book, which was published in Manheim in 1783, was written by Henry Zimmerman, who accompanied Captain Cook in his travels. Captain Cook was the first British seaman to land on Vancouver Island. .The existence of. this book has'been. . doubted by students of Pacific Northwest history.—i(A_ and N.Z. Cabled
