ITALIAN DEBT TO ENGLAND.
A PRELIMINARY DISCUSSION. (Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, January 14. Signor Volpi and Mr. Winston Churchill informally conversed Tor an hour on the subject of the Italian debt to Britain, the proceedings being purely preparatory jto a main conference. Later, the Italian delegation went to the Treasury for a second meeting. Sir Austen Chamberlain is convaleacing at Rapalle.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
