NEW SOUTH WALES POLITICS.

HOUSE AT LOGGERHEADS. SYDNEY, January 14. The Parliamentary Electorates and Elections Amendment Bill was recently vitally amended by the Legislative Council. On Tuesday the Legislative Assembly returned the bill to the Council with the comment that the Council's amendments were considered to be an interference with the Government, and foreign to its policy. The Upper House to-day debated the bill again, and, by 30 votes to 29, decided that its previous amendments must stand. The Assembly thereupon appointed a Select Committee of the House to inquire into the reason for the Council's action. (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
