THE RED ROLL.
ANOTHER CROSSING FATALITY. MAX TERRIBLY SMASHED. (By lelegrapb.—Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, this day. The unidentified body of a man, aged about 27 years, was found this morning beside the railway line, near the crossing between Palmereton North and Bunnythorpe. The body, which -was that of a man about sft lin in height, had been hurled over the chain northward from a crossing. Indications are that the man had been struck by the north-bound Limited express la%t evening. Both legs were broken and there were terrible injuries to the head and body.
