FROZEN IN STEAMERS.

GREAT MARINE DISASTER. TERRIBLE POSITION IN BALTIC. LONDON, January .12. The Riga correspondent of the "Daily Express" says that one of the greatest marine disasters in the history of the Baltic is taking place. Among the 35 frozen-in freight steamers two have already been crushed, and two others are in a most dangerous state and have been abandoned, by their crews. It is feared that the battleship sent from Kiel will not be able to rescue the ships, and may be caught in the ice themselves.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.) ,
