NO AUCKLANDERS REMAIN. GREENS IN FAST ORDER. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Tuesday. The Dominion bowling tourney singles competition continued to-day. Four players remain in, namely, FosteY, Caledonian, two lives, and Tretheway, Caledonian, Carswell. Taieri, and Edwards, Temuka, one life each. The following are the results of the day's play: —

At.Caversham Foster (Caledonian) had * very easy win over Maher (West End, Auckland), the latter retiring when the scores were 21 to 10. Wade, the English singles champion, made rather a poor showing against' Ellis, of Timaru, being five down on the 20th head. In the eighth round he was eliminated by Anderson, of Caledonian, who won by 27 to 7- Of 17 heads played Wade won three. Foster won his games and Anderson and Wright (St. Helier's) went into the ninth round with oiJe loss. Malcolm and Mair, of England, who had gone through the first day without a loss, were eliminated at the Caledonian green, where Tretheway (Caledonian), Weir (Otago) and Mclntyre (Hamilton) survived. M. Walker (Ponsonby) was one down to. Tillie (Caledonian) in-.£he ma,t;ck played at North East Valley;. It was'a: brilliant game of drawing. Walker, was' eliminated, and Tillie dropped- out wheti he met Edwards (Temuka)., Edwards won after a game devoid of brilKknce but very steady. Another • ex-champion, E. Hafraway (Dunediri) dropped out at Kaituna. In the ninth round Foster proved too good for Jielntyre- 'Carswell (Taieri) was accurate in drawing against Fastier (St. Clair), and from the seventh head forced ahead and won easily. Anderson failed to. reproduce his earlier form against Hayman, being five down- It was a game of excellent drawing, Hayman being at his best.
