ARBITRATION COURT.

NOMINATIONS FOR ASSESSORS. February 1 has been gazetted as the date for the receipt of nominations for the positions of employers and workers' assessors, and acting-assessors in the Arbitration Court. There is no likelihood of a contest in connection with the employers' representatives; Messrs. W. Scott and B. L. Hammond will be recommended for return unopposed. Regarding the position of workers' assessors, however, a contest will be waged, there being two candidates in the field, Mr. H. Hunter, the sitting member, and Mr. A. L. Monteith. Mr. F. Cornwall, secretary of the Bftilding Trades Federation, is one of the candidates for the position of j acting-assessor for the workers. j
